So, we're back. The countdown to Senior Year is getting short - Are you ready? Your grade matters, for sure. But what about the bigger picture? What can we really take from this class and apply to our lives beyond reading and writing skill? Hopefully, that social consciousness we've been talking about is beginning to take root in your minds. This week, we'll explore an issue that one group of lawyers believes remains problematic in America and figure out what we think about it, then persuade others to think as we do by using EVIDENCE, instead of simple-minded Youtuber insult-hurling.
Monday: We will finish watching Act III in The Crucible and peer edit other unidentified students' persuasive letter.
Tuesday: We will read and watch Act IV, then complete and turn in the rhetoric and theme analysis worksheet
Wednesday - Friday: Innocence Project research and essay drafting (more information to come) - 1 handwritten draft due for grading at the end of the day Friday. Next week, we will revise, edit, and publish as a major grade to end this unit.
